Friday, May 16th will be the 5th Annual NASCAR Day celebration. You can show your support by purchasing a commemorative pin for $5. Be sure to type in the code JJF when checking out. 50% of your donation will go to the Jimmie Johnson Foundation!
Friday, May 16, 2008 - NASCAR Day Telethon
The NASCAR Day Telethon will be at held on May 16th and 17th. 100% of the proceeds will be designated to the charity of your choice. There are three ways to support the telethon:
- Call 1-888-MAY16TH to make your donation. Be sure to mention the Jimmie Johnson Foundation.
- Text your email address to 81714. Don't forget to designate your funds.
- Click here to make your donation online.
The charity that raises the most money during the NASCAR Day Telethon will receive an additional $24,000 from Sprint. Finally, there are special items for individuals who donate $100 or more. See the NASCAR Telethon online donation page for details. The first 25 donors who donate $500 or more on behalf of the Jimmie Johnson Foundation will receive a Victory Lane hat from the 2007 Subway 400 at Martinsville Speedway worn and signed by Jimmie!
Thursday, May 22, 2008 - Hendrick Marrow Drive
Here is your chance to show your support for one of the Jimmie Johnson Foundation's Partner Programs, the Hendrick Marrow Program! On Thursday, May 22nd, NASCAR Speedpark in Concord, NC will be hosting a marrow drive from 12-4pm EST. NASCAR Speedpark is located in the Concord Mills shopping center at 8461 Concord Mills Blvd. Participants in the marrow drive will receive a discounted rate to the Speedpark. Come join NASCAR fans all over the country attending the 3rd Annual Blood and Marrow Drive hosted by The NASCAR Foundation, the Jimmie Johnson Foundation and the Hendrick Marrow Program. Fans will once again have the chance to make a difference in their communities by visiting their local track and donating blood or joining the National Marrow Donor Program Registry.
