About the Foundation

Chandra and I have been very blessed. We get to do what we enjoy in life, and that is something we don't take for granted. We have incredibly supportive friends and family, and we feel that I have the best fans in our sport. It is in that spirit of thankfulness that we launched the Jimmie Johnson Foundation in February 2006.

As we began to think about how we could give back, we found there are so many worthy causes. All of them are deserving of our time and effort, so concentrating on just a few was a very tough decision. One thing that Chandra and I knew for sure was that we wanted to help families, particularly children, in need. With your support we have been able to do just that. In March 2007 we celebrated the grand opening of Victory Lanes at the Victory Junction Gang Camp. It was a wonderful experience to see the smiles on the children's faces while bowling, many for the first time. Last year we were also able to partner with San Diego Habitat for Humanity to begin building multiple homes for deserving families in my hometown. We are very excited about our accomplishments to date and look forward to what the future holds for our foundation.

We would like to thank you for your interest and support of the Jimmie Johnson Foundation. We look forward to keeping you posted on our progress!
