Jimmie Johnson Foundation Launches 2008 All-Star Club!

Charlotte, N.C. (February 8, 2008) - The Jimmie Johnson Foundation is kicking off the NASCAR Sprint Cup season by launching the 2008 All-Star Club! This will be the second year for the All-Star Club with exciting new benefits for members. Just like the 2007 club, this year's club will consist of varying levels of membership, beginning with the Race Fan ($48) all the way up to the Champion ($5,048). The collectible JJF All-Star Club coin will again be available to new members, while returning members will receive a custom Jimmie Johnson Foundation lapel pin. Other items for 2008 include a new certificate of membership, Jimmie's 2008 hero card, and the Jimmie Johnson Foundation navy team pit cap, which is only available through this program. Donations to the All-Star Club will help the foundation continue its mission of assisting children and families in need. In its fourth year, the Helmet of Hope program gives fans and media members across the country the opportunity to nominate their favorite charity of choice to be featured on five-time reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson's helmet for a select race.  Each charity also receives a grant of $10,000.  To date, the program has contributed over $300,000 to 49 different charities.
