Johnson Launches Samsung Helmet of Hope Campaign
CONCORD, N.C. (July 23, 2010) – Three-time Brickyard winner Jimmie Johnson drew the first two children’s charities for the Samsung Helmet of Hope Friday at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Beads of Courage (Tucson, Ariz.) and Hunter’s Hope Foundation (Orchard Park, N.Y.) will be the first two charities to grace the helmet, which Johnson will wear in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event at Auto Club Speedway in October.

Jimmie Johnson and Samsung Announce Partnership Awarding $130,000 In Grants for Specially Selected Children’s Charities
CHICAGO, Ill. (July 9, 2010) – The Jimmie Johnson Foundation announced that it will partner with Samsung for the 2010 Samsung Helmet of Hope program. In its third year, the program allows fans and media members to nominate their favorite charity to receive special recognition. New this year, nominations will focus on charities that assist children in need, and the program will include a grant of $10,000 to each selected organization.
